Middle Township Wrestling
Those Who Remain Will be Champions
Middle Township High School Wrestling was established in 1974 and competes in the Cape-Atlantic League as well as Region 8 in New Jersey. Since the start of the 2016-2017 season the team has gone a combined 115-61. During that same time, the team has had a total of 42 Region Eight qualifiers, 7 District Champions, 3 State Qualifiers and 1 State Semifinalist. The team has also won multiple championships, including the 2022-2023 Cape Atlantic League National Conference, and has qualified for the South Jersey Group 2 Team Playoffs each of the last four seasons, reaching the South Jersey Semifinals in 2024.
The program has been equally successful off of the mat. Since 2009, 64 of 69 senior varsity letter winners have been accepted to college with 39 becoming NCAA athletes. Since 2018, the program has produced 9 NCAA wrestlers including 2 NCAA Conference Champions.
Our Purpose is to develop student-athletes at Middle Township High School to be the best they can be, on and off of the mat. We Value Hard Work, Teamwork, Perserverance, and Winning.
